God’s Country is a one-of-a-kind, hand-made original glass mosaic from T-Go by goBorgh. For this reason, opening the back or attempting to change the frame is not recommended as it may ruin this lovely piece of fine art. Any Yooper will recognize God’ Country is an outline of the U.P. (Upper Peninsula) of the great state of Michigan, The colors used are mainly various shades of green to display how the whole area is untouched by man. There’s a small area of copper to represent the Copper Country. Additionally there are upcycling jewelry pendants & cabochons, representing various wildlife throughout the U.P. Collectively, the glass colors, cabochons, jewelry & water create a vibrant & colorful mosaic that sparkles and reflects light in a positively eye-catching way.

Although, Wisconsin is connected to the U.P., God’s Country represents the U.P. completely surrounded by water (the Great Lakes) using my secret technique to create actual depth in the water. There’s no way to reflect the raised areas in the photos. By using this technique, the water areas have a 3D quality to them.

Thrice ParrotDice was titled as a play on words for ‘something‘ placed into the mosaic, but this mosaic truly does capture what I think of when I envision Paradise. The colors are so vivid; from the 3 waterfalls’ vibrant blues, with small pearls & turquoise pieces to replicate churning water; to the red anthuriums, green foliage & the 3 colorful crystal & enamel parrots... This is truly one of my best stained glass mosaic pieces.

Thrice ParrotDice is the 2nd in a series of Parrots in Paradise that I plan to create. I do custom orders and although I can’t/won’t try to exactly replicate any because they’re one-of-a-kind art pieces, the Parrot mosaics are extremely popular and I can create similar custom pieces upon request.

***Caution: Thrice ParrotDice is made using my crushed glass technique to create an appearance of depth. Although the piece is heavily sealed, due to the crushed glass technique, touching the surface is never recommended as it may contain sharp areas of glass.
